Annex Publishers allows authors to withdraw a submitted manuscript within 48 hours of submission, free of charge. After this 48-hour window a withdrawal charge applies, and once the peer-review process has begun the manuscript can no longer be withdrawn. To request a withdrawal, download and sign the withdrawal form and email it along with the payment receipt for the applicable charge.

Within 48 Hours

A manuscript may be withdrawn free of charge within 48 hours of submission. Simply submit the signed withdrawal form.

Charged

After 48 Hours

Beyond the 48-hour window, withdrawal is permitted only on payment of a withdrawal charge, as advised by the editorial office.

Blocked

After Peer Review Begins

Once the peer-review process has started, the manuscript cannot be withdrawn, as significant effort has already been invested.

Complete & Sign It

Fill in all the details and sign the form. The form confirms that all co-authors are aware of and agree to the withdrawal.

Pay the Withdrawal Charge

If the request is made after the 48-hour free window, pay the applicable withdrawal charge for your income group and keep the payment receipt.

Email the Signed Form + Receipt

Send the signed withdrawal form together with the payment receipt to casereports@jcrspublications.com.

We Process the Withdrawal

Once the signed form and payment receipt are received and verified, we will withdraw the manuscript and confirm by email.

Articles that have already been published cannot be withdrawn, as they are a permanent part of the scientific record and may already have been cited.
